Cobrascan®
2000SL
The
Cobrascan® 2000SL sets a new standard for film digitizers
by extending both resolution and optical density range.
16 bits of stored data provides maximum clarity and
optimization potential, using a new 10,000 element CCD
with an Optical Density range of 0.01 to 4.0 and maximum
uninterpolated optical resolution of 9.5k (9500 square
pixels), and up to 19K with interpolation in one axis
(The ACR standard is just 2K or 2.5 Ip/mm) in a case
3.25 inches thick.
The only scanners with a built-in
light box, the Cobrascan digitizers utilize the most
powerful imaging component known to man - the human
eye. Visual analysis and comparison of a digitized image
with the original film is essential for image enhancement
and quality control. Users can ensure perfect reproduction,
and obtain more visual data from an image by adjusting
scans according to the nature of the film.
The very latest technology allows
for ultra-high resolution scanning which Cobrascan®
technology has pioneered. With its new variable calibration
feature, the 2000SL's automatic calibration engine measures
and optimizes the scanning light source so the grey
scale density is uniformed across the scan. In addition,
the scanner is provided with a TWAIN compliant interface
for use with any TWAIN compliant software. The Cobrascan®
2000SL exceeds the performance of all other film digitizers
available today.
NewVertical Design
This design offers the smallest foot-print available
and is ideally suited where limited space or portability
is a requirement. The scanner is less than 22' wide
so it can attach to most standard Telemedicine carts.
Automatic Film Feeder
The 2000SL also has an optional 50 sheet Auto Film Feeder
which provides robust and reliable continuous auto feeding
of any size x-ray film. Perfect for high volume x-ray
film scanning and archiving.
Mammography
The New 2000SL has a 1000 DPI optical resolution: (24
Micron Spot Size). With interpolation in one axis this
scanner is capable of resolving objects of 12 microns
in size. Optical Density range is .01 - 4.0. Mammography
images can now be scanned and stored digitally for immediate
access and review.
